Application fee
To kick off your hiring journey, we charge a one-time, non-refundable $150 application fee. This fee is due when you sign the Introduction Agreement and helps us begin the personalized search for your ideal caregiver or housekeeper.
You won’t owe any additional fees until you decide to hire one of our candidates.
Your Journey with Elmego
At Elmego, we introduce qualified candidates for your consideration—whether you’re seeking a caregiver, housekeeper, or other trusted household professional. As an introduction and referral service, Elmego does not employ or manage candidates directly. The decision to hire is entirely yours. Once you’ve selected a candidate to hire, Elmego ensures they undergo comprehensive background checks to support your peace of mind and safety.
If you choose to employ a candidate, the employment relationship is exclusively between you and the candidate. You’ll determine the work schedule, compensation, and all terms and conditions of employment. Elmego does not oversee wages, hours, or working conditions.
As the employer, you are responsible for all legal obligations, including wages, benefits, taxes, withholdings, worker’s compensation insurance, and any other requirements under applicable law.
If you decide not to hire the initial candidate introduced, Elmego will gladly arrange additional introductions. However, our obligation to provide new candidates expires one year from the date we receive your signed Placement Introduction Agreement. After this one-year period, Elmego has no further obligations under the agreement.
